Once, Sugarlands and Gatlinburg were a-buzz with white’lighting in a jar. Illegally made, shared, brewed and distilled in the upper reaches of these mountains – deep in the dense rhododendron thickets. Made from hand-planted corn and sugar cane, and boiled down with the finest and freshest mountain spring water. Once an age-old trade, it is now a booming business model for all to enjoy.
