New Eateries Coming Soon to Gatlinburg

Mar 31, 2021 | Food, Restaurants

Gatlinburg is booming, even despite the difficulties over the last year caused by the pandemic. In fact, Gatlinburg was recently labeled as the number one top trending destination in the U.S. according to Trip Advisor. With the success of the area, it is no surprise that restaurateurs are moving into the area at an increasing rate.

Looking for something good to eat? It ain’t hard to find around here!

Here are some new eateries that will be opening in Gatlinburg this year.

Dann Yankees

Damn Yankees is a casual dining restaurant founded by the owners of Delauder’s Smoky Mountain BBQ, a popular barbecue restaurant located in the Arts and Crafts community in Gatlinburg. It will feature wings, specialty burgers, appetizers, and sixteen beers on tap. In addition to great food and a casual vibe, the restaurant will have various entertainment that includes karaoke, live music and trivia nights.

The restaurant will be located at 170 Glades Road.

Pizzeria of Gatlinburg

Pizzeria of Gatlinburg was founded by two J-1 students who fell in love with Gatlinburg and fell in love with cooking. Gatlinburg’s newest pizza joint will feature a full menu that includes various appetizers, wings, salads, soups, sandwiches, pasta, gyros, and of course…pizza!

The pizza itself is not just your usual suspects. Options include a grilled shrimp pizza, that uses a garlic sauce base, mozzarella cheese, grilled shrimp, tomatoes, onions and crumbled feta cheese; a Phillly cheese steak pizza; and a Greek pizza with a garlic sauce, mozzarella, feta, Greek olives, onions, tomatoes and bell peppers.

The pizzeria is located at 349 East Parkway.

The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar

The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar was founded in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with a second location later opened in North Myrtle Beach. We are fortunate that their third location is going to be right here in Gatlinburg. The young business has only existed since June of 2020, so it is growing rapidly. If you tasted (or even just took a look at) one of their magical creations, you would understand why.

These are not your typical milkshakes. For example, one called “the All American” is a vanilla shake with a rim covered in sprinkles, cherries, whip cream, apple pie, cinnamon caramel drizzle, caramel covered apple slices and Cinnamon Coast Crunch. How do they squeeze so many ingredients into a single shake?

We are unsure of the location at this point, but refer to our Facebook Page for ongoing updates about this and other new businesses opening in Gatlnburg.
