Valentine’s Day Options in Gatlinburg for 2020

Jan 29, 2020 | Attractions, Holidays, Things to do

Gatlinburg, Tennessee is a FANTASTIC location for a romantic Valentine’s night or weekend. Valentine’s Day 2020 falls on a Friday, so we definitely recommend coming into town and spending the weekend here. Whether you go see a show, drive up into the beautiful Smoky Mountains, or just walk around town, you will love it here…and so will the one you love.

So here are a few of our recommended options for your Valentine’s Day in Gatlinburg.

  • A night at the Historic Gatlinburg Inn. Isn’t this one obvious? We are located right in the center of town, walking distance from pretty much everything. We are the most historic and unique hotel in Gatlinburg. We have the friendliest staff who will make sure you are well attended to. And when you wake up the next morning, you can treat yourself to the best breakfast in Gatlinburg, our compliments! Click here to book your room now.

  • Under the Ocean Valentine’s Day Dinner. Ripley’s Aquarium is serving up a romantic Valentine’s evening that includes two tickets to the aquarium, dinner and dessert for two, souvenir champagne glasses, two drink tickets and a souvenir photo. There will also be a cash bar with beer, wines and spirits available. Click here for reservations.

  • Mother Legacy at Gatlinburg Brewing Company. This powerful musical duet combines ringing harmonies with world class playing to entertain crowds with their favorite songs from several different eras. The Gatlinburg Brewing Company specializes in craft beers brewed on site. The show starts at 7:00 but we recommend you get there early.

  • First Class Valentine’s Dinner at the Titanic Museum. Right down the road from Gatlinburg, in Pigeon Forge, is one of the most unique museums in the country, the Titanic Ship Museum. On Valentine’s night, you can have a romantic dinner for two in their “secret” first class dining room. The event includes a tour, dinner, and a piano serenade. Call 800-381-7670 for tickets.

  • Gatlinburg Winter Magic. You really can’t go wrong by just walking around town and soaking in the scenery. Gatlinburg’s Winter Magic is our annual event that covers the entire town in a beautiful light show from one end to the other. The lights don’t come down until the end of February. So spend the evening visiting shops, attractions and restaurants, and just enjoying one another’s company.

This is certainly not an exhaustive list. Gatlinburg is a fun little mountain town, so no matter what you do or where you go, you will have a good time. So come on into Gatlinburg for Valentine’s Day!
