Gatlinburg Family Dining Choices

Sep 17, 2017 | Places to Eat In Gatlinburg, Things to do

It’s very difficult not to notice on your way through Gatlinburg that we have a lot of restaurants in our city – quite a lot – so many, in fact, that our guests often ask us for recommendations as they’re not sure which ones to go with or where they might be found at.

In this article, we’ll do just that and give out some of our recommendations for restaurants within walking distance of us that can comfortably feed families small or large. You might notice there’s quite a few restaurants on this list because Gatlinburg Inn is in convenient walking distance to quite a lot of places!

Let’s take a look:

Bennett’s Pit Bar-B-Que

Address: 714 River Rd, Gatlinburg, TN 37738

(865) 436-2400

Recommendations: BBQ Beef Brisket, Pulled Chicken, Smoked Sausage Sandwich, BBQ Combo

Notes: Two locations – one on River Road in Gatlinburg behind Ober Gatlinburg’s tram station and one in Pigeon Forge. Other restaurants owned by the same company are within proximity as well.

The Best Italian

968 Parkway Suite #9, Gatlinburg, TN 37738

(865) 430-4090 and (865) 436-4345

Recommendations: Garlic Knots, Linguini & Clam Sauce, Spaghetti Marinara with Mushrooms, Pepperoni Calzone

Notes: Two locations pretty close to each other on the parkway in Gatlinburg. Their calzone is the biggest I’ve ever seen. I can’t eat it in less than 3 sittings.

(865) 436-5455
